Amir Motavaselian

Research Assistant

Amir Motavaselian is an architectural designer and researcher with a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from the University of Pennsylvania, Weitzman School of Design, and a Master of Architecture from the University of Tehran. With over four years of experience in Iran, Amir has contributed to residential and commercial projects, and won architectural prizes including for the design of the Karaj Main Theater Hall. His research focuses on computational design, digital fabrication, and advanced materials, exploring innovative solutions that integrate technology and architecture. Currently, Amir collaborates at the Polyhedral Structures Laboratory on interdisciplinary projects, bridging design and fabrication across scales.
