Ali was a graduate student in Master of Science Advanced Architecture Design [MSD-AAD] at the School of Design, University of Pennsylvania. He received his undergrad degree in architecture from the University of Art Tehran, Iran, and participated in a wide range of professional and academic activities addressing cultural, aesthetic, and technological advances in the field of architecture. He was a research assistant at Polyhedral Structures Laboratory contributing to computational design and fabrication of spatial structures.
