Andrea Machado Romero is a Colombian architectural designer. She currently collaborates with the Polyhedral Structures Laboratory on research projects involving computational geometry and additive manufacturing. Andrea holds a Master of Science in Design from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Architecture from Rice University, where she also studied Art History. Prior to graduate school, Andrea worked at Thomas Phifer and Partners, where she played a key role in the construction administration of the Warsaw Museum of Modern Art during her four years with the firm. Her writing has been featured on Log and the New York Review of Architecture.
