Hua Chai is a full-time design researcher and engineer at PSL. He holds a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University, Graduate School of Architecture Planning and Preservation, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Port and Harbor Access Engineering from Shanghai Maritime University. He has participated in various architecture and engineering projects globally and has a computational design patent in China. His research interests lie at the intersection of computational design, spatial construction techniques, and materials science, especially across multidimensional scales from the micro-scale to the building scale.
