Mariana Righi
Research Assistant
Mariana Righi is an Argentinian architect involved in the practice, academia, and research. Before joining the PSL, Mariana was a research and teaching assistant at the Autonomous Manufacturing Lab at the University of Pennsylvania. In addition, she has been an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Temple and Northeastern Universities and the University of Buenos Aires. Her research interests center on exploring the relationship between materials, technology, and aesthetics. Mariana joins PSL to design and fabricate lightweight, deployable timber structures in partnership with Eventscape NY. Righi received her Bachelor of Architecture from the Universidad de Buenos Aires and a Master of Science in Design with a concentration in Advanced Architectural Design from the Universidad de Pennsylvania, where she studied as a Fulbright Fellow.
