Michael is a designer with a focus on structural form-finding and climate resilience. He received his Masters of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania in 2023 and a Bachelors of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2020. He has previously also been a Research Assistant for PSL, and concurrently a Teaching Assistant for Structures I and II from 2021 to 2023 under Richard Farley. Besides academia, he was employed by a variety of firms including Gensler, and aims to be licensed as an architect. He was a finalist in the Perkins + Will Summer Internship and Scholarship, and has won a minor award for cinematography.
