
Dr. Mohammad Bolhassani
Research Associate
Dr. Mohammad Bolhassani is a research associate at PSL where he was a postdoctoral research fellow since 2017. He has recently been appointed as a tenure-track assistant professor at the City Colledge New York, Department of Architecture. His experience covers computational and experimental analysis, design, retrofit, and rehabilitation of structures. Mohammad holds a Master of Science and a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from Drexel University and a Master of Science in Geotechnical Engineering with the highest distinction (summa cum laude) from K.N.T University of Technology, Iran. He is an adjunct faculty at Drexel University. Mohammad is a co-author of the book Introduction to Design of Building Structures. His research interests include geometry-based structural design and analysis, dynamic behavior and resistance characteristics of historical structures, and sustainable and high-performance construction and building materials.
